Manager Supplier Quality &
Productivity
Summary: To
design, lead and manage supplier quality and productivity efforts and to ensure
conformance with standards and product requirements. Evaluates recurring non-conformances
to prevent repeat occurrences and lead performance improvements. Develop a
proactive, disciplined approach to addressing product quality issues and
managing product knowledge.
Job
Functions:
• Manage
the measurement and assessment of supplier quality metrics using a variety of
analytical tools and methods to validate supplier conformance with standards
and project requirements.
•
Proactively identify supplier quality performance risks and opportunities
throughout project execution and influence responsive strategies. Drive
alignment of supplier quality activities with the production processes for
enhanced efficiencies and costs.
• Establish
processes for supplier qualification. Lead teams for supplier evaluation and
approvals.
• Maintain visibility
of supplier performance through regular reporting and evaluation of key
performance indicators and progress on process improvements.
• Manage
the supplier quality and productivity staff (including subcontracted resources)
with responsibility for effective resource planning, recruitment, deployment,
development and performance management. Responsible for establishment and
management of the function’s budget and general administrative
responsibilities.
Job
Requirements :
• 8-10
years experience in systems/process improvement, quality, supply chain and
or/production in the food, beverage or allied industries.
• B.S.
Degree in chemical engineering desired.
• Minimum 5
years of experience in roles involving QA / QC, supply management, and/or
leading manufacturing activities. Broad knowledge of engineering,
manufacturing, procurement and logistics functions.
• Strong
commercial skills, with proactive focus on risk and opportunity management.
•
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving competencies utilizing a variety of
analytical tools and methods specifically focused on measurement of supplier
performance.
